The app is very similar comparing Datacenter and Cloud versions. Differences are mainly in minor configuration details. The general app behaviour is identical between Jira Datacenter and Cloud.

What is the migration path looking like?
use cloud migration assistant to migrate all data like project data, filters, dashboards
install the app in your Jira cloud instance
add the app to all needed dashboards
Is the cloud migration assistant supported?
Currently we are investigating support of the Jira Cloud Migration Assistant. So the migration process today is partly manual.
